Mrs. Story’s Dairy Bar has been a staple in the Opelika community for over 60 years. It was started by Mrs. Beatrice Story, and her husband, Mr. James Story, in 1957. The couple had a passion for making ice cream, and they opened up their own dairy bar to share their love with others.

Mrs. Story’s Dairy Bar quickly became a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Mrs. Story passed away in 2006, but her legacy continues on through her family and the dairy bar that she created. Mrs. Story’s Dairy Bar is still owned and operated by the Story family, and they continue to make Mrs. Story’s original recipes. The dairy bar has been passed down through the generations, and it is now run by Mrs. Story’s granddaughter, Mrs. Amanda Story.

The dairy bar is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving up delicious ice cream for over 60 years. Mrs. Story’s grandson, Mr. Dustin Story, is also involved in the business, and he helps make the ice cream and run the day-to-day operations. Mrs. Story’s Dairy Bar has a rich history in the Opelika community, and it continues to be a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

Mrs. Amanda Story is now  the owner of Mrs. Story’s Dairy Bar, following her grandmother’s footsteps. Mrs. Story’s granddaughter took over the dairy bar in 2006 after Mrs. Story’s death. Mrs. Story’s grandson, Mr. Dustin Story, also helps with the day-to-day operations of the business.
