Grand National Golf Course in Opelika is one of the top golfing destinations in Alabama. The Grand National Golf Course was designed by world-renowned golf course architect Rees Jones. The course is carved out of the natural rolling hills of east Alabama and features dramatic elevation changes, large lakes, and plenty of bunkers and sand traps. The golf course is a true test of golf, and it has hosted numerous professional and amateur tournaments over the years.

Rees Jones  is one of the most accomplished and well-respected golf course architects in the world. He has designed more than 200 golf courses, including several that have hosted major championships.
